Running Together

Three wild horses are running together.  The stallion is in the back, then the mare, and a young foal takes the lead. When the running starts I’ve noticed that a young one often races to the front. They all run in sync with one another.

My painting is made up of three colors: blue, purple, and white. Blue faith is like a fresh revelation of God’s goodness which releases hope into our hearts. Purple is majestic and royal. Through Jesus we are called God’s beloved children. White faith is simple and pure that just follows Jesus. Three horses, three colors, three concepts. And there are three in the in the Godhead: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. Together in love and purpose. United.

My picture speaks of running together on purpose to accomplish the same goals. Our families need to be together to weather the storms in life, to raise healthy children, and to fulfill the law of love. Jesus gave us one important command:

Love One Another

To love one another well, we must be in unity, cooperating with each other. If we truly want peace, we must think about others even when we are going through tough times. Giving a helping hand can actually lift us up too.

There is much division in our land, or so it seems. But, is this disunity manufactured and purposely stirred up? How often do you need to hear how evil someone or something is before you start to believe it? Are you the victim of propaganda? When the truth is distorted on purpose and there is confusion everywhere, there will be disharmony and division.

But, what can you do? You are just one.

But, you are a mighty one when you are connected to Christ, when you are in union with Jesus. He has overcome the world and you can overcome with Him. The prayer of a good person has a powerful effect (see James 5:16-18).

Realize that “Any country that divides itself into groups which fight each other will not last very long,” Jesus said in Matthew 12:25. We must stand together for peace with Christ. We can pray for revival in our land. Let’s love one another and pray for one another.

United we stand, divided we fall.

We can run together on purpose, with similar goals. Let’s take back our peace and our harmony with prayer, which is very powerful. We can worship the One true God with all our heart. Let’s shift the atmosphere! Let’s push back the darkness and bring in the light!

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
